PAIR program

Throughout Term 2, students in kindergarten will take a PAIR book home each week. The book is a read-aloud book, meaning parents/carers read the text to their child. The books are to be read 4-5 times, with instructions given at the front of each book. PAIR books are aimed to encourage conversation about the text, by providing questions, tips and prompts for parents to use.

How to read PAIR books

Students will need to bring their PAIR book in each Tuesday to receive a new book. The PAIR program does not replace home reading in which students read aloud to an adult.
